Whilst a lot has changed in the past 20 years, the beauty of our natural surroundings here at Laurabella will remain as spectacular as ever. Overlooking The Downs and encompassed by farmland, Laurabella’s unique placement within the local vernacular has cemented our position as a celebrated individual day spa and salon for years to come.

OUR STORY

In 2002 Laurabella was a one-room enterprise in the spare bedroom of Emma’s home. Fast forward to 2005, we were in the process of transforming the old Coach House at Strattons Farms into the spa you see today. Built on love, passion and a want to bring something unique and different to the community, Laurabella, The Barn was complete and ready to provide unrivalled quality and services to Hampshire, Berkshire and beyond.

A MESSAGE FROM OUR FOUNDER

“I have worked in beauty now for over 35 years having gained numerous qualifications, certificates and credentials across advanced treatments, product lines and alternative therapies.

Laurabella, is for me, the coming together of years of accomplished treatment refinement, persistent investment in technologies, education and staff contentment and a determination to bring something truly unique and wonderful to everyone that walks through our door. Our treatments are unparalleled and the product of years of polishing to achieve perfection. Our staff are highly skilled and uphold our ethos that ‘every client deserves a five-star experience’.

Named after my two daughters: Laura & Annabel; Laurabella encompasses the feeling of unwavering love a mother feels for her daughters. The last 18 years of business have demonstrated we put that same energy and love into what we do.

  • Emma has over 35 years qualified CIDESCO International Diploma, BABTAC and CIBTAC.

    Emma is renowned for her powerful massages and enthusiasm for skincare and facials. Emma trained as a Sound Therapist and often blends her treatments with different therapies to create a complete holistic approach to relaxation. Emma now offers mentoring alongside Sound Therapy Treatments to help with ailments such as anxiety, grief or emotional/mental pain.

  • Laura’s original training was in Architecture but she found her passion for Marketing and Design through her studies. Having completed additional qualifications in 2020 for Eyelash Extensions and nails, Laura can be found working in the spa throughout the year or busy making fun posts for our social media and website! Laura loves to hear your ideas for the spa - why not stop her for a chat when you’re next in!

  • Frankie joined Laurabella after achieving her NVQ Level 2 qualification and has since successfully completed her NVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy qualification, becoming a fully qualified therapist and an integral part of our team.

    Known for her bubbly personality, warm nature and caring touch, Frankie creates a welcoming and relaxing experience for every client she treats. Her passion for the industry, dedication to her clients and commitment to continually developing her skills have helped her become a valued member of the Laurabella team.

    Frankie is always happy to offer personalised advice and recommendations, helping clients choose the treatments and products best suited to their individual needs and goals. Whether you're visiting for a moment of relaxation or working towards a specific result, Frankie will ensure your experience is tailored to you.

ACUPUNCTURE PRACTITIONER

  • We have a motto at Laurabella, if we can’t fix something… we know a man that can! and that’s Richard. He has become renowned in the local area for his acupuncture treatments and the results gained with them. From hormonal imbalances, infertility, menopause and anxiety/depression, Richard has provided amazing results. Working alongside our massage courses, acupuncture can often be a great option to speed up recovery of muscles in pain.

Joining us with a wealth of experience in the beauty and wellness industry, Danielle knows what makes the perfect treatment, from waxing to massage - she’s here to help you relax and unwind.   • Kelsi has an extremely loyal following here at Laurabella, being one of our longest serving therapists! With a fantastic relaxing medium pressure of massage, quickness with waxing and attention to detail with eye treatments, its clear to see why Kelsi is in popular demand! Kelsi has become extremely well known for her amazing results with advanced facials! She will be leaving for maternity leave on 19th April 2025.

FACIAL THERAPIST & REFLEXOLOGIST

  • Debbi brings over 30 years of experience in the beauty and wellness industry, with a refined focus on holistic facial therapy and reflexology. After many years working internationally, including running her own spas in Canada, she now specialises in deeply restorative, results-driven treatments that support both the skin and the body as a whole.

    At Laurabella, Debbi offers her signature Facial Alchemy treatment — a sculpting, tension-releasing facial designed to lift, contour and rebalance — alongside Facial Reflexology, Reflexology and Hot Stone Reflexology. Her approach blends advanced technique with intuitive, holistic care, creating treatments that not only deliver visible results but also promote deep relaxation, balance and overall wellbeing.

  • Nicola joins the Laurabella team in March 2026 bringing an extensive knowledge of the hospitality and events industry. Nicola pays close attention to detail in everything she does, making her your go to person for group bookings and spa days. Nicola is friendly and attentive, make sure to say hello on your next visit!
